Memorial Day Picnic
This is one thing I love about going to church. Every now and then we have a big picnic where everyone gets together to eat good food. All the women of the church want to show off how good of a cook they are, and we guys get to tell them what a good cook they are so they’ll do it again and make more awsome food. It’s a win win situation.
This afternoon I will do my part. I will do my best to help the women of the church feel good about their cooking. It’s the least I can do. 
“Lost” Filming
I am looking forward to helping with the filming of “Lost”. No, I am not working on the hit TV show. This is for the church. This project is for the middle school youth. We are filming a little drama movie thing for an illustrated sermon that Kenny will give the youth. It is for the Relentless JH, by the Relenteless JH. This should be a lot of fun. We have some great kids in this youth group.
Kenny has quite a few people helping with this little project. Everyone has their own thing they are good at. He has people that are good with cameras to film it, people that are good with acting to help the kids act, and he asked me to entertain the ones that are not on camera so they stay out of the way.
So basically I get to spend the day messing with Junior High kids heads. This is going to be a great day.
First Night
I’m at the new house for the first night. It’s 1:47 am and I just got done putting together my new desk set. It took roughly six hours. Maybe I should have kept my old desk. It was huge, cumbersome, and a pain in the neck, but it didn’t take six hours to move it. I have no doubt I’ll enjoy the new desk, but I’m not sure it was worth it. I am sure the next time I move I will love it.
It feels good to be in the house now. I’ll get the rest of my furniture here tomarrow after work. I’ll also get a lot of cleaning done. I have a bunch of stuff to unpack and or just generally straighten up. I guess that goes for whenever you move. I’ll get on it tomarrow. Hopefully I’ll have a lot of it done over this weekend. The rest I’ll have to get done throughout next week.
Well, I’m going to go put the dogs out. It takes a while to round up all 25 of them. They’re fast.
Error: Gmail Unavailable
For some reason over the past couple of days Gmail is having a lot of problems. I keep randomly getting error messages that they can’t access the data, or the server is not available, or they don’t like my personally. Whatever the problem is, I hope they fix it. It seems a bit odd that Google would have problems like this. I thought they were the Uber-Guru Internet Wizards that never had problems.
I’m going to take my disillusioned self and move the rest of my non furniture type stuff over to the other house. I will post more later as to how the progress is going provided that I am hooked up to the internet over there. My computer is also in desperate need of a format. I’ll take care of that later tonight if I have the time. More to come.
Diverse Readership
I found out today about some people that read my website. I had no idea so many people from the church are visiting my site. I had several people come up to me tonight and comment that they like my security system. I guess I need to be a little carefull what I rant and rave about. If I go off the deep end on some controversial subject, it’s liable to come back and bite me in the buttocks. I’ll try to keep it all at least PG-13. I can’t guarantee anything beyond that. It will take a pretty good amount of self control and editing to make that happen.
It’s been a bit of a slow week as for posting. I’ve been very busy with getting everything ready to move. I am more than ready for everyone to come over this Friday. I have one dresser, one medium size table, and one snake enclosure to move. The snake will not be in the enclosure when we move it. There will be four or five random boxes to move as well, but nothing major. At the other house however, Jonathan and I have decided to move a couple of things around, so there will be a little work to do there. Basically we just need to move two sofas and a few chairs from one place to another. It’s not much, and it won’t take long. You’ll barely earn the pizza that I will get for everyone that helps.
I’m going over to the new house tomarrow to put my new desk together. I want to get it ready for when I am completely moved on. I think I will also move my new Vonage phone. I’m makeing that number available now. If you have my cell phone number, give me a call and I’ll give you the home number. I don’t want to post it on the internet for some odd reason. Call me funny, but I’m like that. I like a lack of tele-marketers.
