Feeling Much Better Now
Well, now it’s gone. I guess a long nights sleep is what I really needed. I was sitting here watching Demolition Man last night. It was about 8:45 and I was starting to doze off. I stopped the movie and went to bed. I woke up around 2:30 and walked around for a few minutes but went back to bed. Now, at 6:15am, I actually feel great. It’s good to not be sick.
Going to Work
I’m not going to say I feel great this morning, but I don’t feel anything like I did last night. The sinus pressure had gone way down, and the cough is a lot better. I’m stull a little stuffed up, but I don’t think it’s anything a little DayQuil won’t take care of. I woke up before the alarm, and with energy, so I must not be doing too poorly.
I’m off to go do some crocery shopping before work. I have to get lunches and stuff for work and a couple of things for around the house.
EDIT: Well that didn’t last long. By the time I got to work it got a lot worse. I came back home. I may go out and get some laundry done and do a change of address at the bank, but other than that, I’m done for the day. This thing, whatever it is, is kicking my butt.
Sick as a Dog
I just called in sick for tomarrow. I have rarely felt this much sinus pressure. I just took some drugs (legal ones) that should help, but I have yet to enjoy any benefits from them. I talked to Kenny a minute ago, and from what he wold me about what he had over the past couple of days, I have reason to believe that it’s in it’s final stages. Let’s hope that it is, because I can’t afford to lose much work.
I am going to bed how. I’ll post an update tomarrow.
Black Mesa: Source
I was in process of reskinning everything on my computer, cause it was just ugly. I downloaded a Valve icon pack to replace all of the icons for all of the Half-Life type games I have. I noticed one of the icons named “Black Mesa: Source.ico”. That sparked my interest because I had never heard of it.

I was disappointed when I played Half-Life: Source. I was hoping that they would have changed it a bit more. All they did was put the original Half-Life content in the Source engine. You had great lighting and physics with crappy textures.
The Black Mesa: Source team is completely remaking every aspect of the game. I looked at their screenshots. It is impressive. I can’t wait to see the finished product. It should be a great improvement over the original. Their models that they show images of are looking great.
A Day to Remember Our Heroes
There is no other group of people that deserve our respect and gratitude than the service men and women of the United States military. They serve us day and night three hundred and sixty five and one quarter days each and every year. It is because of their hard work and dedication that we enjoy the freedoms that we have. I am ever appreciative of the amazing job that they do.
To the service men and women that may read this message, I salute you. You are truly my Hero. Thank you for your service to our country, and may God bless you and watch over you.
